Presence
Soderbergh pushes his directorial skills with this nifty supernatural story filmed completely from the viewpoint of a ghost. As a family with Lucy Liu as Rebekah plus Callina Liang as Chloe settles into their recent residence, the lens – AKA the Presence – follows them around. The Black Phone Horror

However, the disconnected phone on the wall continues to ring, with eerie communicators providing assistance, while the prescient dreams of his sister Gwen could save him. An effective horror. The Eyes of Tammy Faye
In the conflict between spirituality and money, the winner is obvious for greed in Michael Showalter's wonderfully garish true story regarding the shamed TV preacher plus her lawbreaking partner. Andrew Garfield acts as the venal Jim, who declares early on, “God does not want us to be poor,”. Both individuals commence monetising the nation's religious faith. It's a riot of poor styling, overdone appearance and hypocrisy, though Chastain achieves to show Tammy Faye as a sympathetic figure. Next Tuesday, late night, Film4
